About Me
Kaisa crafts started quite unexpectedly during a difficult period in my life.
I was living with chronic pain and suddenly found myself unable to do many of the things I normally enjoyed. After about three months of watching far too much Netflix, I realised I desperately needed something creative to focus on.
So, I started making wreaths.
I’ve always loved Christmas decorating, but I could never seem to find a Christmas wreath or garland here in the UK that really suited my taste. I love a more understated, Scandinavian-inspired style. So I began making the things I couldn’t find.
What started as a hobby and a way to switch off quickly became something I genuinely loved. I began developing my own distinctive style, playing with flowers, foliage and textures while keeping that simple, pared-back feel at the heart of everything I made.
Little by little, orders began coming in, and my hobby gradually grew into Kaisa crafts.
Today, I create handmade wreaths, garlands, floral decorations and accessories, as well as running wreath-making workshops. My range has grown considerably since those first Christmas wreaths, but my style hasn’t really changed. I still believe that sometimes less really is more.
And I love that something which began during such a difficult chapter of my life has grown into something so positive — and something that I now get to share with other people.
